SimplyHelp's Donations for Haiti Sent Out

Happy New Year!

 

· The container for Haiti has been loaded and send out!

 

Lot’s of volunteers helped to pack the container on New Year’s eve – what a wonderful way to end the year. Thank you!

 

The situation in Haiti is getting more difficult, especially now that the raining season is about to start – all these donations for the survivors of the earthquake in Haiti are in high demand and will help relief the suffering of hundreds of people.

 

Thank you for all your help and donations.

And a special thanks to JCUAA (!) for all their help, support and hard work.

 

The total amount of money raised is $19,650.00

 

The 40’ container has been filled with all the items requested by the UN Ambassador of Haiti – Tents, food, baby products, medical supplies, toiletries, clothes and blankets.

 

· SimplyHelp has entered into a new and exciting partnership with Lehigh University, in Pennsylvania.

Our first project together will start next week.  A team of 4 graduate students will become part of the SimplyHelp team and help organize SimplyHelp workshops at the United Nations, and explore and optimize SimplyHelp’s use of United Nations resources.

 

The Warhouse will be closed this Sunday.
