Container with Donations to Seniors in El Salvador

There are 3 things we would like to share with you this week:

 

1. Best Mom nomination
2. UN workshop
3. SimplyHelp sends container to the Senior Centers in El Salvador

 

1. Is your mother the most wonderful women in the world and do you think she deserves to feel special?

I invite you to nominate your mother to receive an award for the best mother on May 9^th.

JCUAA will have an event at the TECO Culture Center and will invite the winning mom on stage to receive an award.

Mothers have to be 65 years and older.

 

2. SimplyHelp will host a workshop at the18^th meeting of the Commission on Sustainable Development at the United Nations in New York, on May 3^rd.

The event is titled: “Beyond The Rainforest - A New Model for Vocational Training”

In this workshop 4 speakers will explore solutions to unemployment among impoverished Brazilian’s who used to depend on the Amazon forest for their income, but lost their means of income due to pending CO2 cap-and-trade laws in the United States.

More detailed information about this exciting event will follow!

 

3. The warehouse will be open for donation drop-off this Sunday, from 2pm-4pm.

We will be loading a container with donations for our Senior Centers in El Salvador.
