SimplyHelp Foundation BBQ Party - Please join us!

This is a reminder of SimplyHelp’s summer event for volunteers – Last chance to sign up this week!

 

SimplyHelp is organizing a fun weekend away in beautiful nature, on June 26^th and 27^th.

 

The weekend will start at 5:30pm on June 26^th, in Monrovia Park.

Guests can stay till 9:30pm or stay overnight at the cabin.

 

We will BBQ together and learn and talk about SimplyHelp’s current and future work and how we can all be part of SimplyHelp’s rapidly growing organization.

 

On the morning of June 27^th we will do a beautiful hike together and come back to the cabin for breakfast.

 

This is a unique opportunity to become an (even more) active part of SimplyHelp’s mission to help our friends in need around the world.

We hope you will join us at this exciting weekend!

 

$30 / adult (includes food + lodging)

$20/teenager

$20/ 1 day

Touching Thank You's from Taiwan

• Please join us at the warehouse this Sunday, June 13, as we will be loading a container for Nicaragua, from 1pm-4pm.

Desired items for donation: Canned food and tents for the victims of Tropical Storm Agatha.

Please click one of these links to read Thank You letters from children affected by Typhoon Morakot.

As many of you will remember – SimplyHelp raised more than $122,000 for the survivors of Typhoon Morakot in Taiwan.

These donations allow children who lost their parents during the typhoon and children from poor families affected by the typhoon to go to school for 2 years.

50 Elementary school and 50 high school students are currently sponsored to go to school, attend after school activities, receive their school books, lunch food and school uniforms.

SimplyHelp’s goal is to continue to raise money, in order to sponsor these children up to graduation.

Help load Containers with Donations for Victims Agatha Storm

• Please join us at the warehouse this Sunday, June 6, as we will be loading a container for Honduras and a container for Nicaragua, from 12:30pm-4pm.
• Desired items for donation: Canned food for the victims of Tropical Storm Agatha.

• Mark your calendars and join the SimplyHelp summer BBQ and Camping Weekend, starting June 26^th 6pm at Monrovia Canyon Park.

If you don’t like to stay overnight, please join us Sunday morning, June 27^th, for a beautiful hike. Andrea will send out more information soon.

 

• SimplyHelp distributed food, clothes, shoes and toys in Honduras’ capital Tegucigalpa. The donations brought joy and much needed aid to 1800 poor people living in two poor neighborhoods in the capital: Colonia Suyapa and Colonia San Michael.
